Invitation for bids for Supply, Delivery & Installation of Multimedia Projectors, Screens & Laptop Computers under e-villages Program.

1. The Secretary, Ministry of Education, under the financial assistant of the Presidential Secretariat invites sealed bids (valid for 120 days from the date of Bid Opening) from interested bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of 45 Nos. each of Multimedia Projectors, Screens & Laptop Computers under e-villages Program,

2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain detailed information from the office of the Project Director, Secondary Education Modernization Project II, Project Management Office (PMO), Ground Floor, Ministry of Education, “Isurupaya” Battaramulla and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 0900 hours to 1600 hours.

3. Bidding Documents can be obtained upon written application to the Project Management Office (PMO), Secondary Education Modernization Project II (SEMPII), Ministry of Education, Ground Floor, “Isurupaya”, Battaramulla on any working day between 0900 hours and 1500 hours on payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1000/- in cash. Bid documents will be issued till 1400 hours on 9^th November 2009.

4. Bids must be delivered to the above-mentioned address mentioned in Para 3, on or before 1400 hours on 10^th November 2009 All bids should be accompanied by a bid security (valid for 150 days from the date of Bid Opening) to the value of 2% of the total bid price (Excluding VAT) of the package. Tender caption must be indicated on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

5. Bidding will be conducted under National Competitive Biding procedure (NCB). Bids will be opened immediately after the closing of bids, in the presence of the representatives of the bidders, who choose to attend at the office of the Project Director/SEMPII, at the address given below.
